A New Campus, An Exciting First Step

In the Fall 2026 semester, 19 international and overseas Korean freshmen began a new chapter of their university life at POSTECH.

Coming from diverse backgrounds and countries, the new students gathered on campus to take their first exciting steps into life at POSTECH.

Starting with their move-in to the Residential College (RC) on September 1, Orientation Week was organized to help the students settle into their new environment and become familiar with campus life.

Through a campus tour, Info Session, and support with international student registration, the freshmen learned essential information about life at POSTECH. They were also introduced to RC life and various programs with guidance from Woohyun Seo, President of the Residential Advisor (RA) Council. 😊

This Orientation Week was made even more special by three newly selected Global Advisors (GAs)—Dongwoon Kim, Sunyoung Park, and Dongyeon Kim—who joined the freshmen as supportive senior students.

Through networking activities prepared by the GAs, including an O/X quiz and a bingo game designed to help everyone learn each other's names, the freshmen quickly got to know one another and build new connections.

Nineteen freshmen from different parts of the world have now come together at POSTECH!

We look forward to seeing the learning, friendships, and memorable campus experiences that await them as they begin this new journey.

Welcome to POSTECH! 🌱
