Overview

○ POSTECH operates the 'Pre-POSTECHIAN Program' to help prospective students strengthen their foundational academic skills through advance study during the period before entering university.


○ Students may select courses based on their individual needs and circumstances.


○ Courses are provided through POSTECH's online learning platform, POSTECHx, as pre-recorded lectures. Since the courses are not live, students can study at their own pace and at times that best fit their schedules. The lectures are delivered in Korean. For Introduction to General Calculus, English transcripts are provided, while for Introduction to General Physics: Electromagnetism & Optics, English study notes are available.


○ Students who complete 80% or more of a course based on each subject's criteria will receive a certificate of completion, along with a small commemorative gift. Please note that course completion does not count toward graduation credits.

○ Registration Period: Thursday, July 9, 2026 – Sunday, July 12, 2026


○ How to Register: Complete the application form using the link below for the course(s) you wish to take.

○ Immediately after the registration period ends, detailed instructions regarding registration results and how to access your courses will be sent to each student via the website and individual emails.
